If a lesson has started/ended, this means that whoever attended the lesson organized their day with reserved time for the lesson, therefore, it could be an inconvenience if the lesson isn't charged/paid for. For example, if a tutor attends a lesson but is not paid for the lesson, they have lost the time and opportunity to teach a different student during that time and earn income.
For this reason, we do not have a dedicated rescheduling or cancel flow after a lesson has ended. Such changes can be done at any moment up to the time when a lesson ends.
If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, you should click the "Reschedule" or "Cancel" button on your Lessons page and select the reason and/or write an explanation. If you are doing this less than 24 hours before your lesson or during the lesson, it is important to add an explanation if you would like your tutor or learner to waive the penalty. This explanation will be sent directly to your tutor or learner and they will be able to decide to penalize your late cancellation or rescheduling, or not (the platform does not enforce the penalty).
We of course understand that there are always exceptions, and will immediately revert a lesson payment if both tutor and student agree that a lesson which has ended will be rescheduled/cancelled and therefore should not need to charged/paid for. If this is the case for you, please click the blue "Support" button at the bottom of each page of your profile and send us a message saying that your lesson shouldn't be charged/paid for because both tutor and student have agreed to reschedule/cancel it (even though the lesson had already started). We will update the lesson for you immediately.
