What if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?

Tutors and learners can cancel or reschedule lessons up to 24 hours before a lesson. If a lesson is cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the lesson, then the person rescheduling or cancelling may suffer a penalty. The penalty for a learner is losing the payment for the lesson which is transferred to the tutor, and the penalty for a tutor is also losing the value of the lesson from their credit which is transferred to the learner. Whoever did not reschedule or cancel the lesson decides to impose this penalty or not, it is not an automatic penalty. 

If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, you should click the "Reschedule" or "Cancel" button on your Lessons page and select the reason and/or write an explanation. If you are doing this less than 24 hours before your lesson, it is important to add an explanation if you would like your tutor or learner to waive the penalty. This explanation will be sent directly to your tutor or learner and they will be able to decide to penalize your late cancellation or rescheduling, or not.
