What happens in the first lesson?

For each lesson, the tutor should follow the lesson plan they receive on their Lessons page and via email. This lesson plan explains the distribution of lesson time and what should be done during each time segment.

The tutor should start the first lesson by greeting the learner and introducing themselves, for example saying where they are from and what they study or do for a living. After this, the tutor should introduce the Level Test and explain to the learner that during this part of the lesson they will assess the learner’s speaking and listening skills.
