I have a new student who has already taken lessons with other LIM Lessons tutors, should I do the Level Test in the first lesson?

Prior to the first lesson and before adding materials and homework, it is highly recommended to review the notes from previous LIM Lessons tutors to make sure that you aren't focusing on redundant topics or materials that were already completed in prior lessons.

It is also highly recommended to complete the Level Test during the first lesson, unless the student requests otherwise. This provides the opportunity for you to assess the strengths, weaknesses and goals of the student, and to review their preferences for their lessons together. You can add the Level Test to the lesson by clicking the button on the Lessons page within the lesson and the student always receives the written test when the Level Test is added.
