How much do the lessons cost?

For online lessons, the hourly rate is global - all first lessons cost USD$18.00/hr.

From the second lesson, this rate may vary depending on the tier of the tutor. We have a tier system to reward tutors delivering great lessons.

- Novice Tier: tutors with less than 40 highly rated lessons

- Experienced Tier:  tutors with 40 to 80 highly rated lessons

- Expert Tier: tutors with more than 80 highly rated lessons

After the first lesson (which costs USD$18/hr) tutors in the Experienced and Expert tiers have the option to raise the price of the lesson to USD$22/hr (experience tier) or USD$26/hr (expert tier).

For in-person lessons, the rate varies depending on the country where the lesson is taught because in-person lessons are priced according to the country's currency and market rate. For example, USD$12/hr in India to USD$87/hr in the United States.
