How much will I get paid per hour?

To ensure accessible pricing in a global marketplace, our lesson prices are set based on each country’s local rate. We will only recommend tutors to learners whose local rate matches or exceeds the tutor's minimum acceptable rate. So your minimum acceptable rate is the lowest lesson price you are willing to accept from students. The hourly price for small group lessons is the same as one-on-one lessons, so the pay rate is also the same.

When tutors teach learners referred to them by the platform (learners who did not sign up with the tutor's referral code), then there is a platform fee which ranges from 25% to 6.25% for our most commonly purchased package. We waive this fee completely when tutors refer new students to the platform - in this case the tutor keeps 100% of all lesson payments. LIM Lessons was made by tutors, for tutors. Our priority is making sure tutors get the most of each and every lesson payment as possible.
