Why can't I verify my phone number?

For our SMS alerts, we use a service which does restrict messages to a specific list of countries.

Users trying to verify phone numbers in these countries will not be able to due to the restrictions set by the provider (they are not our own restrictions and unfortunately we cannot change them):
